I got shocked after seeing worms in my pool as It is for the first time but I think there presence can be based on various reason like maybe they can from nearby soil or from my garden, they get into the pool accidentally because it was raining yesterday so I thought this but I also did some research on this topic some other reasons can be because of pool poor filtration and circulation as stagnant water attracts these type of insects
Another factor can be organic matter such as leaves, dirt and algae found in the pool can also attract red worms, maybe worms crawl into the pool in search of moisture or food, when the pool is not cleaned in some days.
Rain can also be the reason for the presence of worms in the pool, like I said earlier. It rained yesterday and I found worms today so It might be a possibility they get rain water as they are very small in nature and go easily anywhere with water.
Although these earthworm species are not harmful for humans, who wants to swim with these creators? It can be concerning if you have kids like me as these worms can cause some allergic reactions so please pay attention to your pool if you have little kids like me.

In order to keep worms out of your swimming pool as you need to do is follow the steps I’m discussing as it worked for and quite simple to do:
1. Proper Pool Maintenance
- Skim the Pool Regularly: In order to get rid of worms in the pool the first simple step you need to follow is use a net(pool skimmer) to remove these worms as they can be floating on the pool water with other things like leaves and organic materials.

- Clean the Pool Filter: Ensure that the pool filter is functioning correctly and is cleaned regularly to maintain water quality and circulation.
